The Delaware Canal Authority Feasibility Analysis was a critical milestone towards restoring water to the Canal, because it lays out a roadmap that is realistic and timely. Our next step is to demonstrate how such an entity can bring new funding to the canal.

In 2023, Delaware Canal 21 applied for grants that will hopefully bring millions of dollars of engineering funds to our Canal - and that will further enable us to pursue grants for tens of millions of dollars in construction funding.

But our organization incurs many expenses that cannot be covered by such grants. Contributions from individuals like YOU are critical to Delaware Canal 21’s continued success in attracting State and Federal resources to the Delaware Canal.
