Easton is where the historic Lehigh, Delaware, and Morris Canals all once interacted commercially. This project advances a vision to transform this priceless 3-canal “portal” into modern green infrastructure as a regional trail hub by building a new a Lehigh pedestrian bridge and converting a former railroad bridge over the Delaware into a “highline” type promenade to connect with its sister city, Phillipsburg, NJ.
