With topographic elevations below the level of the Delaware Canal, Yardley Borough is subject to flooding during heavy rain events unless the Brock Creek waste gate is manually opened. This project studied the hydraulic geometries and existing canal infrastructure creating this necessity, and provides a series of remedies, including:

·      Elevating the towpath north of Brock Creek

·      Reconfigure Lock 5 hydraulic structures
